Vilnius Old Town is one of the largest medieval old towns in Northern Europe and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the approximately 1.5-hour walking tour, we will explore the Castle Complex, the Cathedral and Cathedral Square, the Presidential Palace, Vilnius University, the impressive ensemble of St. Anne's and Bernardine Churches, and the Town Hall.
Vilnius was built over many centuries. It combines the aesthetics of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical buildings into impressive panoramas. I believe that this short tour will encourage you to stay in the Old Town longer, explore it more deeply, taste cultural heritage dishes, and take a slow walk in the evening when the lights are on.
The tour is conducted in either Lithuanian or English. The tour begins at the Cathedral Bell Tower and concludes at Town Hall Square.
